A refreshed rear courtyard and family retreat. Our brief was to lighten the space, removing the stained decking and recycled brick as well as create more defined functional spaces for seating and outdoor dining. We were to incorporate their existing furniture in the design and liven it up with lush planting. In an already small area, we were to add a firepit and outdoor kitchen, and create a sophisticated space for both children and adults to enjoy.
